A long-standing partnership

Our role

For over 15 years Tecnovision and FluidNext have been enhancing the spaces and design of Mondadori bookshops, with more than 50 digitalised stores. In the new Mondadori Store under the arcades of Piazza del Duomo, stretching to the corner of Via Mazzini, the project includes LCD monitors and touch screens in various sizes, an LCD art wall in the Comics area and a giant 1.8 pitch LED wall for presentations and events. The aim is to harmonise technology with the pleasure of reading.

The context

Mondadori, founded in 1907 by Arnoldo Mondadori, has grown from a small printing works into a pillar of Italian publishing, an internationally recognised symbol of culture and reading. Mondadori bookshops continue to grow in volume and new openings. Digital technology had to make historic venues contemporary while preserving their mission and the way they are enjoyed.
